If you love fiction like we do and you’ve always wanted to meet a person with amazing powers, then Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25 is the book for you. I don’t know what powers you would want but if we had powers we would surely pick electrical powers. This book persuaded us into believing in what this boy can do. Go right now and zap your way into a great book!

One day Michael was getting bullied, as always, but he wasn’t going to put up with it. He decided to fight back, but when he did a zap came out of his hands and the next thing he knew, the boys were on the ground – electrically shocked. Little did Michael Vey know that one of the prettiest cheerleaders, Taylor, had been watching him. The next day she confronted him and asked him what he was and how he had done that. Of course he gave in, and told her, because after all she was a very pretty girl! When he told her she said that she was “one” too! They discover that they both have the same birthdays and more. Can you believe that there are two super humans in one place? The next day while Taylor was at her cheerleading practice she didn’t feel good so she went home. While she walked outside she was abducted by a girl about her age and an older man. Meanwhile, Michael Vey was walking outside of a pizza place and a guy tried to take him as well! But Michael fought back – only to discover that his mom and Taylor have been taken. The people responsible are tied into the mystery of Michael’s birth and strange powers.  He, along with some very unlikely travel companions – including his best friend Ostin, sets out on his journey to find his mom and Taylor. Will Michael ever discover the secret behind his identity? Can he save Taylor and his mother in time? Read this amazing novel to find out!

Jason… My favorite part about the book was that it was very suspenseful and you just wanted to keep reading it to find out if Michael finds his mom or not. The book was very descriptive and didn’t only tell you – the author showed you with amazing detail. I saved the best reason for last and it is how action packed this story is.!

Justin… My favorite part about this book was how action packed it was. I especially liked the part when Sam was getting abducted by the mysterious man and how suspenseful it was. I also loved how suspenseful it was when Michael was discovering details about who he really was.

We can’t wait for the sequel!  It hits stores on August 14th!

Michael Vey is Great a really good part in the book is when there’s a undercover robber testing Michael to see if he has powers I liked that part because the undercover robber was shaking at the sight of Michael. I also liked that part because it was suspensful and exiting.
